Seats are people whose AI clients can reach Gentility. Connectors are servers running the Gentility connector. Sources are the databases behind them.

What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol — the standard AI clients like Claude and ChatGPT use to reach external tools. Gentility is an MCP server: your AI connects to it and sees only the interfaces you've published.
Can I start free?
Yes. The free tier has no time limit and needs no credit card. It's capped small — one seat, one connector — but every safety feature is included.
What happens when I hit a limit?
You can't add seats or connectors beyond your plan until you upgrade. Everything already running keeps running; nothing is cut off silently.
Do you train on my data?
No — never, on any plan. Some content passes through OpenAI and Anthropic as processors for specific features (they don't train on it either). The data path section on our homepage lists exactly what flows where and what we store.
Can I self-host?
The connector already runs on your servers, and it's open source. The service itself is hosted by us today; a self-hosted option is in development, and we'll say so here when it ships — not before.
Which AI tools are supported?
Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, and anything else that speaks MCP.
