ChatGPT support in preview

We now expose an early integration path for using ChatGPT with Gentility. Today, Claude is fully supported and production-ready. ChatGPT support is in preview - MCP support on the ChatGPT side is very new and still evolving. Expect changes and the occasional rough edge as things stabilize.

Important: The correct MCP URL is https://mcp.gentility.ai/. Some screenshots may show an older URL - always use the URL provided in the instructions.

What "preview" means

You'll need to enable Developer mode to use Gentility.

How to try it

Install and run the Gentility agent on your server or workstation.
Enable your MCP target(s) and verify access policies.
In ChatGPT (Plus), enable Developer Mode and open Connectors.
Add a new connector pointing to the Gentility MCP endpoint at

https://mcp.gentility.ai/
```
Enable the connector in your chat and send a simple query.

Requirements

ChatGPT Plus or better.
A Gentility account and API key for your agent.

Known limitations

Reliability is still improving, with some systems still prone to error and may require many retries, or not work at all. We expect this to stabilise over the coming weeks as MCP support in ChatGPT matures.

We're collaborating with the ecosystem to harden MCP support, improve resilience, and graduate ChatGPT from experimental as soon as it's ready.
